For example, Mr. Sha Zukang, Secretary General for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, listed seven priorities the conference needed to address.

• combatting poverty, including through green jobs and social promotion
• advancing food security and sustainable agriculture
• sound water management
• energy access including from renewable resources, as well as efficiency and sustainability
• sustainable human settlements
• management of oceans
• improving resilience and disaster preparedness

Anything in the above stand out as a bit overreaching? Exchange the term “sustainable” with the word “acceptable” and re-read.

Mr. Sha is Chinese and has strong ties to the government. He has been a very capable negotiator for arms limitations, trade, social affairs, and communications. Fine. But when someone from (communist) China speaks of prioritizing “sustainable human settlements” and “social promotion” wherein ALL nations, especially developed ones like the USA will be called on to participate…I’m not sure he and his cohorts will have our best interest in mind.

We need to stand fast against this tide of rampant globalization. Stand for freedom, stand for the free exercise of our faith, stand for our individual rights as enshrined in the founding documents, and stand for our exceptional representative republic. Let it not be absorbed into the belly of collective mediocrity and heartless global bureaucracy.

The current reading of Steve Goreham’s “Climatism: Science , Common Sense, and the 21st Century’s Hottest Topic” has so many excellent refutations of the “settled” science on Climate Change (FKA Global Warming, FKA Global Cooling FKA The Population Bomb, etc). It’s hard to parse out the highlights.

But the gist is that the now infamous hockey stick graph by Michael Mann as touted by the UN’s Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change was carefully contrived to display an alarming, nearly exponential trend in rising planetary temperatures. Never mind the 1000 year scale where he conveniently omitted the Medieval Warming Period where temps actually exceeded the business end of Mann’s graph. Also omitted was the Little Ice Age that followed, from which the planet began recovering in the mid 1800′s.

Bottom line is, regardless of whatever carbon dioxide is doing, our planetary temps move in cycles  mostly due to the effects of our sun. AND there’s clear evidence that increases and decreases in CO2 are the effects of such cycles-not the other way around.

You want to see REAL hockey sticks? The type that can bring us untold hardship and theprofoundest of changes? Look to Chris Martenson’s renditions of the Federal Reserve’s money supply or the Total Credit Market Debt (www.chrismartenson.com…The Crash Course). Now THAT’s a hockey stick. And you know what they say, “When all you have in the world is a hockey stick, everything else looks like a puck!” Watch out for the slap shot.

OK so we’ve chosen to take the little red pill and now we’re finally waking up to realize that there’s much more than a single rabbit hole-it’s a matrix of subsurface channels and tunnels that are undermining our liberties and rights in America.

Think of this analogy drawn from the Matrix (if you haven’t seen the movie-take time to do so).  The bad guys are the Agents, who are actually programs of a huge Artificial Intelligence complex that has taken over the world. They seek out and destroy anomalies, i.e. free-thinking awakened humans. They can take over the minds of sleeping humans at will.

A certain agent, Mr. Smith, poses as the main villain. His vendetta is to destroy Mr. Anderson, the story’s hero “Neo”: first by persuasion, then intimidation, then outright extermination. Agents are the globalist enforcers; Neo and his fellow rebels are the last surviving humans who are aware and fighting the system. They are the anomalies that mess with the program. They are the last people standing.

The folks that were radicals back in the 60′s and 70′s, have now attained positions in the media, politics, and many entities like NGO’s, the UN, and even some powerful corporations (like GE). Those that were once the anti-establishment are now established. One might even say they’ve constructed a global system designed to equalize that which makes us human. “Artificial Intelligence” in the form of such malapropisms as (scientific consensus) is creeping in,  especially when it comes to cleverly advancing their missions. They’ve insinuated their programs into every aspect of our lives: energy, economics, education, and environment, as they seek to control all aspects of human existence. The ONE thing they abhor is anybody  who is awake and refusing to sit down and shut-up…..that is anyone behaving as they once did back in their day.

It’s hard to conceive of anyone watching the Matrix and feeling kinship for the Agents or the massive global entity they represent. Except for a few, we ALL are rooting for Neo and his group to win the war. Yet, how easily we buy into the world organizers’ traps.

And, the Mr. Smiths are populating themselves in every little nook from the kid in 9th grade to the corporate billionaire, populating just like, like….rabbits. The buzz words about green and sustainable and smart this and that have entered not just our lexicon but our collective consciousness.

What we truly need are more anomalies like Neo and company who don’t cotton to the matrix of Agenda 21 and will neither shut up nor sit down.

This update is dedicated to helping you learn more about Agenda 21. As Reid Rosenthal (On the Right Side) indicated, I’m in the midst of writing a novel based on what happens if the environmentalists and world governance advocates get their way.

The unreality of seeing and hearing almost verbatim what I’d written months earlier about a future where people are cajoled into living in pack and stack urban complexes (smart cities), great swaths of America’s private rural land seized by a menacing global authority,  major roads overgrown and abandoned and so forth- it was definitely a quick spin down the rabbit hole. Creepy actually.

NOT to claim any great prescience here- no no no, my novel is a saga of three generations contending with a burgeoning ecotopic new world order. We come to know the nature of the beast pulling levers behind the green curtain.

DERIVING US MAD……PART ONE

It’s easy to understand derivatives by performing the following exercise.

Take a nice crisp dollar bill. Lay it on a copier machine and make a copy (just one side will do- let’s NOT be criminal). Now compare the print out with the original. How’s it look? Aside from the obvious color and texture differences, it’s a pretty faithful counterfeit, right? Now make a copy of the copy and compare that one to the original. Little fuzzy, huh? You can repeat this several times over comparing the copy of the copy of the copy to the original and see that eventually after repeated duplications the end copy is only a meagre resemblance to the original dollar.

So this is how derivation works: whether it’s the weakening of the US dollar or diluting where the buck stops in any given bureaucracy (try calling back the last techie  you were talking to in Haridwar (India) before you got cut off) or how about getting a prompt appliance warranty repair from a big box store like Sears? Or, for an extended foray into red tape bog, decide to adopt a child, internationally, from a developing country, that used to be communist but has yet to send any bureaucrats packing.

Interestingly,  the same type of degeneration via duplication is a major cause of aging. The original cells get corrupted with each Xerox. Our DNA stretches only so far. Our bodies cannot derive our cells forever, much to the delectation of plastic surgeons, botox cosmologists, and funeral parlor proprietors.

Information is also compromised. The circle game of beginning a story and retelling from person to person affirms that what goes in never comes around and out the same way. In fact, the differences are often striking if not hilarious, hence the popularity of such games.

What is rumor but a derivation of a nugget of truth? What is propaganda but a manipulative promulgation of rumor mongering?

We as humans are ourselves derivations, for good or ill, of our past genealogical heritage just as our kids are derivations of us. We are not God, so the Bible says (though some persons in power act like it), rather we’re made “in the image” of God, meaning we’re not clones of the Creator, and the vast majority of us aren’t even signed and numbered limited editions. The Star Trek replicator has yet to appear.

Not to disparage derivation altogether. Better to inoculate with a derived antibiotic than be prescribed, “Eat two pieces of this moldy bread and call me in the morning.” There’s hardly anything we touch that isn’t derived from a petroleum or natural gas source, and considering that which electrifies our world via coal, sun, water, or wind-it’s all ultimately connected to sun radiation (derived from fusion and a cosmic do-si-do between matter and anti-matter.(See http://www.grantchronicles.com/astro01.htm)

There are derivations that concentrate (such as the aforementioned antibiotic originating from bread mold) and derivations that dilute. In terms of fiat currency, or paper money that’s printed,  the world has yet to see a long term success.  No longer tied to gold, since 1971, the US dollar is now an abstract icon derived from our government’s  ”good faith and credit”. I’ve got in my wallet a wad of Federal Reserve Notes (really IOU’s) all signed by Timothy Geithner. What could go wrong?

The only difference between me copying dollar bills for circulation versus the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing doing the same is that they get to dilute the value legally. Tacitly a significant difference, but the end result is the same.

Ever wonder where we got the modern concept of “retirement” ? Taken from the Old French word “retirer” meaning “to retreat” the notion of older persons transitioning into retirement, especially at a fixed age, may be a more modern concept than we might presume. 1881: German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck institutes a sweeping government-based retirement security plan that will later become the template for US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Social Security Act in 1935.

At the core of Bismarck’s pay-as-you-go plan was the mandated retirement age of 65 years. Notable, because many of Bismarck’s closer competitors, those vying for power, were of that same general age or above. So, we have a self-serving autocrat keen to peel off his opponents and establish the first of its kind government Ponzi scheme that has younger workers paying for the benefits of retirees who are induced by carrots and sticks to retire at a prescribed age. And thus began the generalized notion that one’s usefulness as a worker would necessitate one’s “retreat” at 65 into a post work safety hammock heartily supported via payroll taxes on the younger generations and by the full backing of the government. My question is why this notion has stuck so readily in the Zeitgeist of so many governmental bureaucracies? Many of society’s elders have attained a vast store of experience, knowledge, wisdom, and are not lacking in the ability to acquire new skills. Why would an entire generation be incentivized to leave the work force? And at a time when their attained wisdom and experiences are at their most valuable height?
Times change; we fast forward to January 31st, 1940. A photo taken that day shows Ida May Fuller standing at her mailbox, proudly displaying the first Social Security check issued in the amount of $22.54. Her total payments into Social Security: $24.75. She broke more than even with the next month’s check and in fact having lived to 100, she collected a total of $22,888.92. Let’s see, that’s a 924% return. The saga……..
